Village Issues:

Are there any other parents/ grandparents that are getting fed up of having to walk the children on the road when going around the village to School, the Shop and the Village Hall because of all the Dog Mess all over the paths and the cars parked on the paths.

Road – Foredyke Bridge Update near Kingswood School

Dear All,

Repairs to the temporary link road have been marked out and are programmed for the evening of Friday 29th June between the hours of 10.45pm and 1am. Due to the extents of the repairs required, the link road will have to be closured during the hours stated above. Advance warning signs of the closure of the link road will be erected to inform residents of the coming closure.

The diversion route during the evening closure will be via Kesteven Way, Richmond Lane, Grosvenor Road, Barnes Way, Ashcombe Road and John Newton Way and vice versa. The diversion signs will be left in place until Wawne road reopens and signed as an alternative diversion route to the temporary link road to try to reduce the traffic flow on the link road.
