This course is for people who handle, cook food for the public.

To ensure awareness of all the rules and regulations preventing illness, and advice on safe food handling.

Wayne has also helped us by fitting new crash bars on the emergency exit in the Main Hall.
We recently joined with Kath Middleton’s Cake Club in holding a Marie Curie fundraiser. A total of £274 was raised for this good cause. Many thanks to all who attended. The Village Hall has also made a donation of hard backed books to the Queen’s Center at Castle Hill. Our regular Coffee Mornings continue to be well attended and helps bring in much needed revenue to help in the upkeep of the Hall. With Xmas fast approaching we are busy planning the “Breakfast with Santa” event, which this year will be on December the 8th. Please watch out for our usual adverts for further information. As always booking in advance is required to avoid disappointment. Activity amongst the User Groups is increasing, the Bowls Club are now running an extra session on a Monday afternoon. There is also a new Dance Fit Class on a Thursday evening. Regular users of the Hall will have noted the appearance of a large leafed plant, this is a Bird of Paradise plant, which has been kindly donated by Dorothy Wilson.
